Lydia Davis offers original digital artwork that can be broadly applied to the apparel and home decor markets. These include women’s and children’s clothing, textiles, wallpapers, accessories and paper goods, among others. I incorporate both classic and contemporary motifs into my designs and all patterns are available in custom colors and various sized repeats. Also, in customizing your favorite home decor and clothing pieces, I can develop and paint a one-of-the kind design using colors of your choice to an item and then ship it to you. Lydia Davis has worked in various aspects of design throughout her professional career. Early on, she was employed as a colorist for several large textile and wallpaper manufacturers. While living in San Diego, Lydia provided color services for National Retail Partners. Most recently, she taught computer graphics using Adobe software, color theory and drawing at Montgomery College in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Prior to moving to Taos, New Mexico, Lydia designed a series of digital prints and greeting cards that incorporate Native American symbols.

​Lydia began drawing at a very early age and always had a love for combining colors. Color selection, its placement and proportions, play a vital role in the overall design process. Lydia draws inspiration from the elegance of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. She also incorporates the beauty of natural elements, the wonder of butterflies and the richness of the Southwest environment into many of her designs.
